Shaina Rae Doberman (they/them) is a Certified Peer Specialist, Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator, and a domestic abuse & sexual assault recovery and prevention expert with over 20 years of experience working in community-based settings.
They currently serve as the Program Director of Younity Access Center, a SAMHSA-funded program that provides low—and no-barrier mental health, substance use, life skills, and social support to transition-age youth and young adults.
Shaina utilizes their own lived experience as a former high-risk, systems-involved youth and trauma survivor to support young people in connecting to accessible, culturally relevant services and resources. They use their professional and personal expertise to assist others in best practices for centering the needs and voices of young adults, trauma survivors, and people with LGBTQIA2S+ identities to create inclusive services and positive experiences for sexual and gender minorities.
