In years past, she worked as a clinician with children of all ages who had emotional and behavioral disturbances primarily due to sustained trauma. As the Director of Protective Services at SeniorCare Inc. in Gloucester, where she has been for the past fourteen years, she oversees civil investigation reports of elder abuse and neglect. She continues advocating for victims of various forms of abuse and neglect, working with the District Attorney’s Office when indicated.
Renee has worked closely with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) to promote and provide training to Adult Protective Services workers across the state and is a Master Trainer for EOEA. In addition, she received training from New York’s Weill-Cornell Medical School and is an Interview for Decisional Abilities (IDA) Master Trainer.
On a personal note, Renee’s father served as an auxiliary police chief for decades, and her husband proudly serves their community as a veteran police officer.
