NE Essex CIT Partners With Boudler Crest for Struggle Well Training

Struggle Well is a prevention-focused program based on the science of Posttraumatic Growth. By partnering with first responder agencies and active serving military units, Boulder Crest is fundamentally changing the culture from the inside-out.

This 2 day training is being offered April 30-May 1st, 8-4pm at the Beverly Police Dept., 175 Elliott St., Beverly MA 01915. This course is open to all first responders.

Struggle Well is a comprehensive approach that focuses on transformation of the active serving military and first responder culture, rather than the implementation of another wellness program.  Struggle Well training is guided by two objectives: normalizing the struggles that are a part of every service member and first responder’s life, and democratizing their ability to struggle well.  Struggle Well trains active serving military units and first responder agencies so participants are able to transform struggle into strength and growth, and be of better service to themselves, their family, community, and country.

The 2 day training enable your organization:

+ Gain an in-depth understanding of the Struggle Well philosophy, and the practices and principles of Posttraumatic Growth

+ Engage in a range of interactive exercises designed to explore your perspectives on struggle, and the ways in which you can (and have) transformed struggle into strength in your lives, and across your organization

+ Meaningfully integrate notions of Struggle Well into your culture, and into the professional and personal lives of all those in your organization

+ Enhance the capacity of your organization to deal with a range of real world challenges
