At Northeast Essex County CIT-TTAC, we are particularly proud of the partnership we share with our law enforcement agencies through the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program. CIT officers undergo specialized training that enhances their ability to respond to individuals in crisis, combining compassion with the necessary skills to de-escalate situations and ensure the safety and well-being of all involved.
Through your hard work and commitment to this critical training, you not only protect and serve—but also make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most. You are the unsung heroes who face challenges every day, often in moments of intense crisis, and you do so with courage, understanding, and care.
