On Friday November 15th we had a wonderful opportunity to speak to members of the Essex County Outreach (ECO) team. The meeting was kicked off with District Attorney, Paul Tucker, making some opening remarks. Det. Dani Sinclair gave updates on Essex County Outreach. We had a presentation from Erica who spoke about her battle with alcohol use disorder and how ECO helped her. She has been in recovery for 7 months. Way to go Erica. Lisa and Ted presented an overview of CIT and also spoke about active listening and de-escalation strategies. Thank you ECO for inviting us to share information about the Northeast Essex County CIT-TTAC.
