Beverly Police Dept. Clinician Lisa Maccario, Lt. Mark Panjwani and Ofc. Ted Lane attended the PAARI conference in Tampa last week. The Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (PAARI) two day convening brought together police, public safety health leaders and community partners from across the country that engage in non-arrest deflection programs that provide paths to treatment and recovery. At the conference they learned about innovative approaches to addiction recovery and non-arrest pathways. They were able to collaborate, learn and strengthen our impact here at BPD. The BPD and NE Essex CIT-TTAC are dedicated to helping citizens of Beverly and Essex County with alcohol or substance use disorders. For more information on PAARI click here.
