Josh Eigen

Josh Eigen, LICSW is the director of Eliot’s North Essex Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) located in Danvers, MA. He graduated from Assumption College with BA in Social Rehabilitation and received his MSW in 2004 from Salem State University. He has extensive DBT training, having worked in the State’s first residential DBT program for transitional-aged young adults. Other clinical work includes working with individuals with dual diagnosis, experience with forensic risk, and diagnostic assessments.

Since joining Eliot in 2012, Josh has run residential treatment programs and Eliot’s community crisis teams since 2018. Josh has overseen Jail Diversion Programming at Eliot, Eliot’s Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) programming, and most recently has been a partner in the current redesign and rollout of Eliot’s CBHC programming, having launched in January 2023. He lives on the North Shore with his wife and two children and enjoys golfing, and vacationing in the Carolinas.
